Membership in the microEPC Cluster provides access to services supporting information exchange, the development of cooperation, the building of business and project partnerships, promotion, and the representation of the interests of the microelectronics, electronics and photonics community.
The Cluster’s offer includes the following services:
Digital communication and information channels
The Cluster provides its members with access to digital communication and information-sharing channels that support ongoing contact between members and help integrate the ecosystem.
Communication is carried out through, among other channels, the website, LinkedIn, email communications and closed communication channels available to members and participants in the Cluster ecosystem.
These channels serve both to distribute information from the Coordinator and to facilitate information exchange between members. Through them, members can share information about their activities, events, needs, cooperation opportunities and other initiatives relevant to the development of the ecosystem.
Information on development and funding opportunities
The Cluster identifies, selects and provides its members with information on opportunities relevant to their activities and development.
This includes, in particular, information on:
- industry and networking events,
- calls for proposals and funding opportunities,
- national and European programmes,
- research and development initiatives,
- opportunities to participate in projects and partnerships,
- international events, missions and other initiatives.
Information is distributed through the Cluster’s communication channels, including regular email communications and channels available to members. Wherever possible, the information is selected with regard to the business profiles and needs of Cluster members.
Meetings, networking and industry events
The Cluster organises and co-organises meetings and events aimed at building cooperation between companies, research institutions, technology end users and other participants in the ecosystem.
As part of this service, members may participate in, among other activities:
- networking meetings,
- thematic workshops,
- meetings with potential partners and technology end users,
- B2B and matchmaking events,
- conferences and industry events,
- national and international initiatives.
The Cluster also creates opportunities for direct contact between members and potential business, project and technology partners. The aim of these activities is to initiate cooperation, develop relationships and create new projects and initiatives.
Promotion of members’ offerings in Poland and internationally
The Cluster promotes the expertise, technologies, products and services of its members through activities carried out in Poland and abroad.
Promotion is conducted through, among other activities:
- joint stands and participation at industry trade fairs,
- conferences and international events,
- presentations and meetings with international partners,
- matchmaking and networking events,
- online communication,
- joint initiatives promoting Polish capabilities.
The Cluster promotes both the potential of the ecosystem as a whole and — depending on the nature of the event and the interests of partners — the offerings of individual members.
Where more tailored promotional activities or support in reaching specific partners is required, the scope of cooperation may also be agreed directly with the Cluster Coordinator.
Representation of industry interests
The Cluster represents the interests of the microelectronics, electronics and photonics community in dialogue with public authorities, national and European institutions, and industry organisations.
These activities include, in particular:
- participation in consultations on policies and programmes relevant to the sector,
- participation in initiatives and working groups,
- consulting Cluster members on their needs and positions,
- preparing and presenting the positions of the community,
- representing the Polish ecosystem in European initiatives.
Cluster members may actively participate in developing common positions and raise issues which, in their view, require action at national or European level.
In this way, the Cluster provides a shared platform for representing the needs and capabilities of the ecosystem before key institutions and partners.
